First off I want to say that I DO NOT think you are stupid or silly. Some of the same side effects you have experienced I have also experienced.
The Weight gain: i have gained at least 15-20 pounds in a year by being on the shot.
No Lubrication: I also have gone from being very "wet" down below to becoming very "dry".
No interested in sex: I also am going through this and often wondered "what is wrong with me". I feel bad because my boyfriend thinks that it is him and it's not! Exactly what you said in your story is that the shot makes you 'tired' and 'lowers your libido-sexual desire'.
After reading your story I am going to do more research on it and then possibly consider getting off the shot and just going back on the pill.
